MRZIM ISTINU! shows the most traumatic events of Oliver Frljić's family life, from the age of sixteen to the time he left home. The protagonists constantly slip through Frljić's text into metatheatrical comments where they question the principles of fictionalization of autobiographical elements and possible manipulation arising from it.The protagonists' constant return to the question of what really happened, what is real family history, determined the title of the play which ironically comments the idea of a work of art as a mediator of any kind of truth.
This project started as a written text but the play does not possess a fixed structure. The actors decide by themselves how to lie down the scenes and in which direction to develop the play.
