Republic of Baklava. The 7 dilemmas of potential Baklavans.

Questions raised by Diana Katharina. Clara Angela Roman, Georgea Ștefan are answering them.

1.     What would your Republic of Baklava look like?

Clara: Ideally, my republic would only be populated by open, empathetic, and honest people who know how to say what is bothering them without attacking and arguing. Problems could be solved calmly, and we would all accept each other's point of view. We would be surrounded by nature and have chocolate at our discretion.

Georgea: My own Republic of Baklava would be a self-sufficient, sustainable community, hipsters trying to save the world and baklavas growing instead of flowers.

2.     What can you buy with a Pistachio-Coin?

Clara: A Pistachio-Coin = a lunch + a chocolate bar.

Georgea: 10 baklavas with pistachios and 5 with walnuts.

3.     Name a sample from the Olympic Games in the Republic of Baklava.

Clara: Standing still.

Georgea: The Baklava Marathon, eat as many baklavas as possible in 10 minutes.

4.     What do parents in the Republic of Baklava write on the WhatsApp group?

Clara: “My child got a three and a colleague told him he was stupid. Please, teach your sons and daughters that they should not compare with anyone, because everyone has different abilities!! Thank you.”

Georgea: “Hello, today my child will not be able to make it to class. They must help us with the preparation of 7 organic pistachio baklava trays, without sugar, for our vegan and sustainable store.”

5.     Who wins in a flour fight?

Clara: The one who doesn’t die from how much flour he swallowed.

Georgea: The one that stays untouched by flour.

6.     “As long as there's no blood, nobody should interfere.”

Clara: Mental bleeding hurts, as well. It's just harder to treat it.

Georgea: If you do not care about what is happening around you, if you are devoid of empathy and only think about your own good, then do not interfere, because there are high chances of “bleeding”.

7.     Should the neighbour also have problems, should his goat also die?

Clara: The goats belong to everyone. If you have a goat, you must have stolen it.

Georgea: No, let’s go to the party tonight, a lot of fun, maybe some hipsters and of course a lot of bio baklava with chia and avocado.
